This photograph was taken on the east side of Dettifoss Waterfall in Vatnajökull National Park in Northeast Iceland – reputed to be the most powerful waterfall in Europe. Situated on the Jökulsá á Fjöllum river, the waterfall is 100 metres wide and has a drop of over 44 metres.
