This photograph was taken near the Icelandic village of Seyðisfjörður. The subject – Gufufoss – is a waterfall in the Eastern fjords of Iceland and is one of many waterfalls on the river Fjarðará. Its name, which means ‘steam waterfall’ is derived from the mist that often accompanies the area.
